U.S. Savings Bonds are going paperless!


No more paper savings bonds through financial institutions or mail-in orders after December 31, 2011. You can buy electronic savings bonds safely, 24/7, through Treasury Direct: www.treasurydirect.gov.

 

VISA® Gift Cards

  • Available in any even dollar amount from $20 to $500
  • $3.95 fee per Gift Card if purchased at an Extra Credit Union branch

American Express® Gift Cheques

  • Available in $25, $50 and $100 denominations
  • $2.50 fee per cheque
American Express Travelers Cheques
  • Available in $20, $50 and $100 denominations
  • Fee is 1% of total amount purchased
  • Cheques for Two® are 1% of total amount purchased

Cashier's Checks

  • Personal cashier’s checks – $5 fee per check
  • Business cashier’s checks – $25 fee per check
Coin Machine
  • Available at Main Office, Sterling Heights and Center Line branches
  • Member transaction fee – 4%
  • Nonmember transaction fee – 8%
Money Orders
  • Available in any amount up to $1,000
