Remember how you went through tons of pencils and paper and binders when you were in school? You measured things with rulers and added numbers with calculators and made art with markers and tape and glue, and you kept all these things in a backpack and could not possibly imagine your education without them…

Well guess what?!

Kids today do the same thing!

Unfortunately, not every child has the means to purchase all the supplies they need. We are on a mission to help change that.

Join us in supporting underprivileged children in the seven public school districts we serve (Center Line, Chippewa Valley, Clintondale, Fitzgerald, Warren Consolidated, Warren Woods and Van Dyke) by donating new, unused school supplies or offering monetary contributions at any of our branches.

We wear jeans because we care!

We are constantly on the lookout for ways to show our commitment to our partner schools by positively impacting them in any way possible, and we’re not above finding enjoyable ways to accomplish that!

THUS: Every Friday, Extra Credit Union employees have the option to don some denim and donate $5 towards our Jeans for a Cause fund which goes directly to benefit our seven local partner districts including: Center Line, Chippewa Valley, Clintondale, Fitzgerald, Warren Consolidated, and Warren Woods.

Care to join in the efforts? We happily accept member donations towards our Jeans for a Cause fund. Contributions of any size can be dropped off at any Extra Credit Union location.

These funds help support important school programs, materials, and resources to help give our kids the education they deserve.

Extra Credit Union is partnering with Warren Goodfellows to collect mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for children in our area. Donations will be accepted throughout December. If you would like to donate, please bring any of the above listed items to any Extra Credit Union branch or place them on the Giving Tree at our Main Office located at 6611 Chicago Road, Warren, MI 48092 beginning November 27. Thank you for your generous donations.
