Mittens for Kids

It's Mittens for Kids time at Extra Credit Union! We are collecting mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for children in our area. Donations will be accepted throughout December and will benefit "Education Project for Homeless Children and Youth" through the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD).

If you would like to donate, please bring any of the above listed items to any of our three Extra Credit Union branches and place them on the Giving Tree.

Jeans for a Cause

We wear jeans because we care!

We are constantly on the lookout for ways to show our commitment to our partner schools by positively impacting them in any way possible, and we’re not above finding enjoyable ways to accomplish that!

THUS: Every Friday, Extra Credit Union employees have the option to don some denim and donate $5 towards our Jeans for a Cause fund which goes directly to benefit our nine local partner districts including: Center Line, Chippewa Valley, Clintondale, Detroit Central Collegiate Academy, Fitzgerald, Van Dyke, Warren Consolidated, and Warren Woods.

Care to join in the efforts? We happily accept member donations towards our Jeans for a Cause fund. Contributions of any size can be dropped off at any Extra Credit Union location.

These funds help support important school programs, materials, and resources to help give our kids the education they deserve.
