Whether you’re funding a special project, new learning materials, or an innovative classroom experience, we’re here to help bring your ideas to life. Empower your students through creativity and enrich your school community with the support of our School Employee Grant Program.
We’re committed to providing educators with free, high-quality tools to teach students real-world money management skills. Through Banzai, students in grades 8–12 explore interactive online simulations and workbooks covering math, life skills, personal finance, and more. Our financial education team introduces the program in your classroom and returns to answer questions, celebrate students’ success, and encourage them to start saving. Upon completion, each student receives a certificate and an incentive to open an account. It’s a fun, practical way to prepare students for a lifetime of smart financial choices.
Extra Credit Union partners with educators to deliver customized classroom presentations that fit seamlessly into your lesson plans. We can present on topics like saving and spending, credit and its impact, checking accounts, or understanding needs versus wants — all tailored to the grade level you teach, from kindergarten through 12th grade. You choose the topic, length, and frequency, and we’ll work closely with you to select the best tools for your students. Our goal is to make financial literacy engaging, relevant, and easy to understand for every age group.
Bring your students to Extra Credit Union’s main office for an educational and interactive field trip! We welcome school groups, scouts, and youth organizations to tour our facility and take part in a fun financial literacy activity. These tours help students see how a credit union works and learn practical money skills in a real-world setting. We also love supporting your events at school and are honored to participate in student activities, sharing financial knowledge in a way that’s both enjoyable and memorable.

Thank you for helping me immerse my students in interactive, role-playing experiences that give them experience with personal finance and exploring career interests.
Hi! My students are doing a great job on Banzai! My 8th grade Life Skills electives are playing the scenarios and I laugh to hear them complain about paying bills with the paycheck they just earned. I have them pretend they have "roommates", which are the classmates they sit near to help them solve these problems.
I appreciate so much that I can use this curriculum for free! It is wonderful for my virtual high school classes also. I will continue to use this website in the future as long as it's offered.
Thank you for continuing to support Imlay City High School students by providing the funding for Banzai. Bringing personal finance related content to students in an informative and entertaining way is a great benefit to teaching the topics. Thanks again!
